Jelly, Reservoir and Joint is the envisioning of a more than human geography. Alternative systems and new networks form over a terrain that’s been invaded by a myriad of infrastructures and interventions. The images and 3D model are accompanied by excerpts from a speculative logbook.
Ahead of us are vast plains as far as the eye can see. Sand dunes, water reservoirs and plateaus that are interrupted in patches. They are right over there! A wide array of creepers are penetrating and flourishing through every capillary they could find. Let's move towards there.
Jelly
I don't remember anything, and I don't know what the plan is. Only by those means I can continue on this trek. At a fixed moment, shifting in an infinite space. I take the shape of the container when the temperature is high.
Reservoir
Piled up, collected, or accumulated. Does it matter? As long as they stay here, they are protected and secure. Around us, there are colossal infrastructures.
Joint
Nodes dissolve and come back together. Loose junctures and flexible edges. Watching them settles me down. As intensified relationships spill out only for a little while.
